I've no subject for my first post just a thought
Big Chain Coffee shop today....
"No problem" is not the same as "you're welcome" so we shouldn't interchange the two. If you help me, while not being paid for it, and not in the course of your profession, "no problem" is a fine response to my "thank you".
If you help me while you're being paid the "no problem" response to my "thank you" doesn't work, no kidding it's no problem, it's what you are paid to do. Being paid for most deeds, last time I checked, is not a problem.
"Your welcome" to me means again and again, grateful. "No problem" means that it wasn't an inconvenience this time, but may be next time.
Help me on the side of the road with my flat tire and, as long as I haven't called AAA yet, you get to say "no problem". After serving me coffee from behind the counter on Sunday morning you get to say "thank you".
Yes, I know, next post will be good, or, better...
